Biography

I grew up in an artistic environment between cabaret, humour and the transmission of body art, which is mime.

Between my father, André Gaillard, author and performer of many sketches of "Frères Ennemis", a duo he formed with Teddy Vrignault. And my mother, Simone Conein-Gaillard, creator of Mimotherapy in the framework of psychomotricity in Paris 7.

Both former partners of Marcel Marceau, they transmitted to me the taste of the stage, of the movement, of the quality of the work well done, but also of the cinema.

Movies, movies and more movies. Not a family meal without a conversation about cinema. Musicals, English, Italian, American and French classics, everything goes. From "Prince" of Lubitsch to "Star Wars" to "Gunga Din", "Volpone" or "Miracle in Milan". These masterpieces have shaped my universe and fed my imagination.

My apprenticeship begins around the age of 5 with classical dance, then modern jazz. 

Drama at 14 at the American Center in Paris, where I try my hand at the texts of J.B Priestley and Giraudoux. And then the mime, of course, and the singing. 

But I want to write. A first show was born with my sister, Valérie Gaillard, in a multidisciplinary style, in homage to music hall and cinema: humorous sketches, singing, dance. I make a dozen short films, pastiches of retro films that will fit into this show entitled "Première".

Shootings, commercials, little roles.

Then I set up Les Drôles de Parisiennes, a cabaret show with Chystelle Dubessy and Stéphanie Mathieu. Choreographies, songs and visual numbers take us on tour in Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka.

Back in France, I created my theatre company Arsène Créations, with Marc Salon, mime, actor and author, with whom I play, write and stage. All these years,

I transmit my art and its techniques to all kinds of audiences, young or old. This teaching allows me to deepen my knowledge about body work and play. Because I like to transmit, guide, allow a person to flourish artistically with benevolence.

With this in mind, I go to Japan and study with masters of Kabuki and Japanese contemporary dance, Hanayagi San and Shiro Daimon.

Happiness! I meet Wilfride Piollet and Jean Guizerix, around the revolutionary technique of "flexible bars" or how to warm up without the painful bar! 

I work the mix of genres, break down the arts.

I perfect my game in English with directors of English-Saxon actors: Jordan Beswick, Fiona Shaw, and Nadine Georges in London, Paris and Brussels.

 

I discover the motion capture and its special English game, through several video game projects for the studios Quantic Dream, MocapLab, Attitude Studio. Freedom to interpret all kinds of roles regardless of my age and type. I then develop, with Rémi Brun CEO of Mocaplab and Ludovic Blezes director, a short fiction film in motion capture.

I made with my sister about twenty sketches of the Brothers Enemies, paternal and fraternal inheritance. We update some replicas, shape the characters in our image, reinvent the direction: The Z'Ennemies Sisters arrive at the Café d'Edgar for 100 performances and then go on tour.

In the same vein of staggered texts and wordplay, I play "Temporary Title" of and with Marc. Then I chain the creation of "Folies Mania!" the Essaïon Theatre and the Comédie Nation. Comedy show between cabaret and vaudeville where the arts continue to mingle.

 

I make a documentary on disability and its impact on the fraternal bond, adapt and write plays for youth and develop series ideas.

 

Today, I continue my encounters, my research, both audiovisual and stage writing. Always with the same desire to play as children do!
